In a Canadian context, similar memes were being shared about ‘crackheads’ getting free Narcan and clean needles while diabetics had to pay for insulin and testing supplies.

The #Liberal government (their arms twisted by the federal #NDP) recently introduced a nationa pharmacare bill which included, as its first area of coverage, free insulin and diabetic supplies.

The #Conservative opposition voted against it.
