Due to schedule, I got out at dawn to get a quick ride in. It had rained earlier, so a bike with fenders was in order. It is still cloudy, cool and windy. A lot of people walk their dogs just before sunrise, so caution on the trails was needed. I rode the West section of the new Chester Woods Trail and the whole ride was 11 miles.

Und dann auch noch dieses unangenehme Gefühl jedes mal nicht weiter als der Refrain kommen zu können, da einem die Strophen völlig fehlen. Immer wieder ein neuer Anlauf, immer wieder eine herbe Enttäuschung nach dem Refrain :oD

Hey #BikeTooter, suggestions on pleasant rides in Pittsburgh if I’m starting from the downtown/golden triangle area? The bike share system looks great but I heard that that area is pretty traffic-intense.

There is a new handlebar for our favourite folding bike (Brompton) by our favourite component manufacturer (Nitto). 
I guess I have to research how to buy this in Germany.
With the way things are going right now I'd assume that creation of new goods of solid mid-range quality will decrease. And more business will focus on refurbishing and repairing.
So one has to wonder: how many of the people who happily buy used bicycle or laptop for ~300€ instead a new one for ~1500€ are willingly going to pay close to 1000€ in the future for something that's not new?
