The Dutch town-centre market days are fabulous. Here in Leiden, one big feature is the Moroccan/Middle-Eatern deli stalls, which sell lots of delicious things. Olives, nuts, exotic flatbreads, spreads, pastries, fresh herbs. I only just realised - they've been doing this for at least FIFTY years! By chance, I visited a cat café for the first time in my life last week. It was a nice 
experience. The cats were very relaxed and gave the place a warm and homey atmosphere. They just hung around and did their thing - like cats do. 
They did not mind the guests. Also, the guests left the cats alone and just enjoyed their presence.
