We don’t *need* to live with these awful car-centric cities in the USA and Canada. It’s a choice our leaders have made, to support the the oil industry.
There are much better options.

This doesn't break out Australia, which would probably be more like North America. It might be what's pushing South Eastern Asia up.

Right, that's what struck me too. We are dragging the average so much higher than it would be for just the rest of the world.
