In any case, it makes total sense to harness wind and sun for something so energy intensive and time insensitive.
Smart Meters, dumber homes? Interesting perspective to the know how transfer from experts to users concerning selection and usage of home equipment (and using the data). In Germany we should avoid what happend in the UK. (And I do not see this UX learning curve, quite the opposite actually.)
